Red Bull
Five first-time runners, one marathon — from January in Finland to the finish line in Croatia.
A documentary series backed by Red Bull, following five people who had never run before as they trained — from January, through a Finnish winter — for the Plitvice Marathon in Croatia. Five episodes, one finish line: 42.2 km through the Plitvice Lakes.
I led the visual direction across the whole series. I designed each of the five episodes and wrote the shot briefs for the camera teams, then edited every episode to final — choosing the look, grading the color, cutting the story, and building the sound. For the final episode I flew to Croatia to shoot and finish it at the marathon itself.
