The campaign

13 candidate films. A mayoral campaign on the street.

Eveliina Heinäluoma finished the 2025 municipal elections as the most-voted candidate in Finland, with 19,157 votes. She was SDP’s candidate for Mayor of Helsinki. For her mayoral campaign I made the hero film and the campaign visuals.

13 candidates, 13 films

The mayoral campaign was one part of the job. For the same elections I made a campaign film for each of 13 SDP candidates in Helsinki.

From the film to the street

The campaign visuals went beyond the film itself, including out-of-home video ads at bus stops and on the big screens at Helsinki’s Rautatientori.

The national result

Nationally, SDP won the municipal elections with 23.1% of the vote, its best result since 2004. Source: Statistics Finland.

Not the first campaign

I’ve made political videos since 2020, including campaign videos for individual SDP politicians in the 2021 municipal elections and for individual candidates in the 2023 parliamentary election.

He has a creative mind but also understands political marketing, not always self-evident with video producers. He brings ideas and combines different views. His talent is problem-solving.
